                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings warriors!  It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the 
clash and bustle of the weekly NIANIA games.  Former top team DEEP ELVES was unseated 
this week as METAL CHURCH moved up from 3rd ranking to take the top spot with a 3-2-0 
record for the round.  Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner!  
Witness how this week OF WOLF & DROW went 2-0-0 to move up 3 in the rankings.  Did 
only my eyes note the 4-1-0 record which SONS OF THE STAR managed to post this round? 
I don't doubt that such a record will draw challengers!  THE DEALER caught the eye of 
many in the gladiatorial commission as it skillfully bested FARLYTH and was awarded 
20 points in recognition.  In one of the week's more notable duels, THE DEALER put 
down FARLYTH, causing him to lose 17 points of recognition in the process.  This time 
victory fell to the grasp of the usurper.  All hail ALL-IN, Duelmaster of NIANIA!  
Would you believe that over half of the old women in NIANIA seem to feel that they 
could fight better than you gladiators?   
     I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently 
transpired.  Indeed there is much I would report.  I saw one fighter that warriors 
avoided when this week's challenge seeking began.  DEEP ELVES is feared.  This much I 
can say.  If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find 
any of RESURRECTION last week.  Busy avoiding DEEP ELVES?  Mighty fighters cannot but 
expect competition from those below.  JUBAL take warning!  You have more than a few 
enemies in NIANIA.  I cannot but express pride for the fearlessness of JAR who cast 
caution to the winds and challenged JUBAL, a fighter 26 points higher.  Truth to 
tell, JAR did not come out of the fight a winner, but he managed to capture much 
attention, gaining 4 in recognition.   
     What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his 
foe's mortality?  Fate is a fickle mistress.  She showers the miserable with fortune 
but sets enemies against the victorious.  Remember this!   
     The girls are as pretty in NIANIA as ever I remembered them....and the fighters 
as ugly!  Don't let your reputation slip!  Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far 
off city calling to me.  I must away!  Till next we meet remember - the pen is
