                             Notes from the arena champ.

Wow, Kaltos is quickly becoming a ghost town. It will be nice to fight in front of a 
crowd on the Isle that is more interested in the fights than in their popcorn.  I know 
my teammates will stick around, but it will be a challenge to get some more 
competition into the arena. Perhaps the Commission will steer some noobs this way.

So, consulting with my vast staff of fight advisors, it's still up in the air whether 
I will be fighting at the Isle of the Eye or herding goats. If it turns out to be 
goats, at least I have my favorite quarterstaff at the ready.

I'm off to see the wizard, uh, I mean the Lady Greywand! May the gods guide your blows 
straight and true!

                                      SPY REPORT

     Well, what are you looking at, KALTOS?  Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens 
before?  Ah, shaddup and listen to my news.  Of course, we're all terribly impressed 
to see XENIA win a fight and gain 12 points, terribly.  Tsk, tsk, XENIA beat XAVIERA 
ADAMS and XAVIERA ADAMS lost 7 points.  You're breakin' my heart.  And if variety is 
the spice of life, KALTOS may be getting bland, as BLACK BANE stays top dog in the 
city.  I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling you this?  You want to 
know what's new, don't you, KALTOS?   
     My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start 
talking.' I loved that woman.   
     Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and 
gone, and get to see if their team cared.  Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only 
shines through use.  Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.   
     I was about to buy a new quill pen the other day, but some fighter took it for 
an epee.  Forgive me for writing with a dagger.  Well, I've had enough of this 
drivel, and I'm sure you have too.  Off like a dirty shirt of padded leather.  Glad
