                             Notes from the arena champ.

I've been grounded by Trophy Wife for "bad language." It's bullsh*t but whatever.  
I've still got a dollar or two to drop in the swear jar.  That should be enough. 
{drops dollar} Shoot, I guess that was my last one. 

But enough about me and my problems.  Happy Holidays!  Hopefully *you're* not grounded 
by a benevolent dictator. 

Black Bane -- Neon has a remarkable ability to blast through Riff-Raff's avoids, then 
lose the fight.  He's thinking of stopping avoiding.  It's just that it works so well.

Larger Than Life -- Congrats on achieving immortality.  I'm going to miss defeating 
you, but I trust the Isle is full of Plungers who will carry on our tradition.

JE, Obregon, Talon and Neon -- I know I've had an iron grip on the throne recently, 
but honestly is it too much to ask for you to write ONE personal ad?  Make a freakin' 
New Year Resolution, gosh!

Riff-Raff says he can't remember if he issued any challenges or avoids this turn.  He 
made a promise to Trophy Wife not to have any bourbon in the guildhouse next year, and 
while it's unlikely he'll keep it we're all making a good college try and drinking 
what's left.  It's quite a lot.

                                      SPY REPORT

     It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters.  Look on my work, ye mighty, 
and despair!  The boys at TEABAG@TEMPE23.6 left the arena dejected, after being 
kicked out of the top spot by JAMES BONDAGE.  Good show!  Practice pays for 
FUZZY-WUZZY, who pummelled LARGER THAN LIFE, to pocket 29 points.  A certain someone 
should cut down on the drinking and practice more, after losing 27 points to 
FUZZY-WUZZY.  (Discrete enough, LARGER THAN LIFE?) SWEAR JAR successfully staved off 
a grab for the roses by TUER of ERRATA.  Does KALTOS have no one talented enough to 
dethrone her?  So who was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and 
challenging dead trees?  Someone's got a basic problem...   
     My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter. 
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights!   
     The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on...  Ask not a spymaster 
for counsel, for he will pontificate long after you have fallen into an unconscious 
stupor.   
     Do not think spyreporting in KALTOS is the highlight of my life.  Keep those 
sands bloody and the buzzards fat!  KALTOS, I leave you now.  The Duelmaster has
