                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings warriors!  It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the 
clash and bustle of the weekly TRANSEL games.  Fortune did not smile upon BREWHALLA 
this time out who this turn suffered a fall into 7th position in the wake of a 0-4-0 
round.  Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner!  Witness how 
this week TEAN NOTTINGHAM went 3-0-0 to move up 5 in the rankings.  My praise to 
FIRST NAME BASIS for their 4-1-0 week this time out.  Indeed, it was a skillfully 
fought round deserving of notice!  PAINT IT BLACK caught the eye of many in the 
gladiatorial commission as he skillfully bested CO-PILOT THOR and was awarded 23 
points in recognition.  In one of the week's more notable duels, PAINT IT BLACK put 
down CO-PILOT THOR, causing him to lose 16 points of recognition in the process.  
Although TUB THUMPING made a valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign 
of victorious KNACK MCZAPPIGAN.  Would you believe that over half of the old women in 
TRANSEL seem to feel that they could fight better than you gladiators?   
     Many and various are the arts of battle.  In TRANSEL "art" is a word that has 
long since passed from the language!  My inside sources tell me that the team to beat 
in TRANSEL these days is TOP HITS.  At least, most blades in town are looking to 
avoid them.  If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find 
any of BREWHALLA last week.  Busy avoiding TOP HITS?  Loose talk at the arena has 
reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters are after 
HEMLOCK.  Watch your back!   
     What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his 
foe's mortality?  Fate is a fickle mistress.  She showers the miserable with fortune 
but sets enemies against the victorious.  Remember this!   
     If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times 
already in TRANSEL.  Nice atmosphere you have here!  Ahh, but I can hear the spires 
of a far off city calling to me.  I must away!  Till next we meet remember:  a fool 
flies into a rage quickly and often.  The wise are angered by the same thing only
