                                      SPY REPORT

     Busy, busy, busy, lots of things happening in TRANSEL this turn, and let's start 
with a look at some of the teams.  It seems the training can make the difference, as 
RUNE is pushed out of top team by BREWHALLA, who came from 8th with a 5-0-1 this 
turn.  BREWHALLA stable has parlayed this turn's 5-0-1 into a 7 space move up the 
rankings.  This brings them up to 1st place.  Good work, guys!  The attempts to 
dethrone the Duelmaster have failed, and TUB THUMPING remains TRANSEL's top warrior 
for another turn.  By the way, was that our Duelmaster that I saw last night, cramped 
under the table at The Victory Tavern?   
     Oriental wise man once say, 'Hiding behind shields prevents proper sun tanning.' 
Inscrutable, but true.  I also notice that the RUNE stable was the most avoided team 
this turn.  Come on TRANSEL, what are you afraid of?  And guess who avoided RUNE 
stable the most?  Believe it or not, it was BREWHALLA.  Anyone surprised?  Well, 
sports fans, take notice that CRUSHED APPLE from ANGRY EDEN was TRANSEL's most 
challenged warrior this turn.  In a brave attempt, SLEEPY JOHN ESTES from BLACK AND 
BLUES challenged up 22 points to fight CRUSHED APPLE from the ANGRY EDEN stable.  
SLEEPY JOHN ESTES perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he defeated CRUSHED APPLE 
and ended up with 51 recognition points.   
     The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.  
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed.  Had I not seen it, it would be hard 
to believe.  THORN GOSPEL was sent to the Dark Arena and lived to tell about it!  
Makes you think, no?  A brave warrior does not carry a red shield, he has nothing to 
cover or hide when the fight is over.  Consider well.   
     Thought for the day, a new sword shines bright, but the notched sword sings the 
sweetest.  Always good to rest in TRANSEL, but never good to wear out my welcome.
