                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings, Warriors of ARUAK CITY.  Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to 
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport.  Practice pays for 
THANATOS, who pummelled DEAR ABBY, to pocket 17 points.  A certain someone should cut 
down on the drinking and practice more, after losing 11 points to THE FARMER'S DOG.  
(Discrete enough, ROVAIR KIRKLIN?) Can you believe it?  CLEAVE TO GENIUS apparently 
has better things to do as ARUAK CITY's Duelmaster than show up and fight!  Now I 
can't insult JON THANE, as he has gloriously dueled to the top.  Oh great new 
Duelmaster!!!  (Stop me if I lay it on too thick) So who was the warrior seen 
charging into immovable walls and challenging dead trees?  Someone's got a basic 
problem...   
     And how sociable are ARUAK CITY's warriors?  Come, let us see.  Like the noble 
eagle soaring amongst the mountaintops, so stand the warriors of BULLDOGS, alone and 
unchallenged.  Like a pup with its tail between its legs, THE BLUES scurried away 
from BULLDOGS.  Oh, the shame!  If challenges were horses, THANATOS could open up a 
fast food joint!  Place your bets!  COOTIE STARK is the long shot of the week:  they 
challenged JON THANE, up by 46.  Like a fly challenging a flyswatter, COOTIE STARK 
challenged JON THANE, and got squashed.  We sadists got a kick out it!  (as did 
COOTIE STARK)  
     Ah, the duel!  The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd!  Death (in the 
form of VENOMOUS CONCUBINE of ARUAK CITY) knocked on VINK's door.  What will NAMED 03 
do?  The suspense is killing me.  Ask not a spymaster for counsel, for he will 
pontificate long after you have fallen into an unconscious stupor.
