     Good day, in TOBIR a quiet thief gets rich, but a quiet spymaster gets poor.  So 
bring me ale and harken to my tidbits of news.  It seems the training can make the 
difference, as SAXON is pushed out of top team by OTAGO HIGHLANDERS, who came from 
2nd with a 3-2-0 this turn.  Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for there are 
sorrows to drown for SAGE SOLDIERS, whose 0-0-0 this turn dropped them by 4 into 7th. 
THE DOGHOUSE stable has parlayed this turn's 2-0-0 into a 3 space move up the 
rankings.  This brings them up to 3rd place.  Good work, guys!  And let's see, ROCK 
OF AGES fought JUBILEE and gained 21 points and contributed to SAXON's 2-3-0.  SONG 
OF EVIL has lost to PENRICH, falling 16 points, while helping make SAXON a 2-3-0 
turn.  And all eyes were on SMELFIE this turn as he ascended to the throne of 
Duelmaster.  TOBIR has a new victor!  By the way, was that our Duelmaster that I saw 
last night, cramped under the table at The Deeproot Inn?   
     The crowd's roar, the smell of iron and leather, mixed with sweat, what more 
could a warrior ask of life?  Well, besides that.  OTAGO HIGHLANDERS has cause to 
stand tall, as they were TOBIR's most avoided team.  A smart manager knows this is a 
team to beat.  And guess who avoided OTAGO HIGHLANDERS stable the most?  Believe it 
or not, it was TEMERE NOMEN 1.  Anyone surprised?  In a brave attempt, CANCEL MAN 
from TEMERE NOMEN 1 challenged up 22 points to fight SLOW LANE BLUES from the SAXON 
stable.  CANCEL MAN perhaps got his just desserts, seeing as he defeated SLOW LANE 
BLUES and ended up with 76 recognition points.   
     The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.  
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed.  A brave warrior does not carry a 
red shield, he has nothing to cover or hide when the fight is over.  Consider well.   
     Thought for the day, a new sword shines bright, but the notched sword sings the
