                                      SPY REPORT

     Hail and well met warriors of MALCORN!  Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp 
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari.  Fortune did not smile upon 
TOURNAMENT BLUES 15 this time out who this turn suffered a fall into 10th position in 
the wake of a 0-0-0 round.  Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the 
corner!  Witness how this week STONE COLD CRAZY went 3-2-0 to move up 4 in the 
rankings.  SQUASHSQUATCH caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he 
skillfully bested PLAYMAKER and was awarded 21 points in recognition.  In one of the 
week's more notable duels, CRIMSON TOAD put down LOONEY, causing it to lose 13 points 
of recognition in the process.  Who here was not present for the title fight this 
week as BIG PUP boldly challenged SWEET GYPSY in order to strive for the Duelmasters 
honors?  Not for nothing has SWEET GYPSY in the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's 
throne, and this week she's proven hers combat skill yet again.  Informants "close" 
to the city champion have told me that he never fights without pantyhose on beneath 
his armor.  Watch out!   
     Many and various are the arts of battle.  In MALCORN "art" is a word that has 
long since passed from the language!  My inside sources tell me that the team to beat 
in MALCORN these days is STONE COLD CRAZY.  At least, most blades in town are looking 
to avoid them.  Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent 
the better part of last week avoiding STONE COLD CRAZY.  Indeed it was EGGS & 
CHORIZO.  Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below.  DANCING 
TROLL take warning!  You have more than a few enemies in MALCORN.   
     What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his 
foe's mortality?  Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins.  In the arena 
there is only the brightness of steel.  Keep vigil always!   
     A thought before I go.  Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise 
manager learn the secrets of them all?  Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far off
