                                      SPY REPORT

     Good day, in WILLAF a quiet thief gets rich, but a quiet spymaster gets poor.  
So bring me ale and harken to my tidbits of news.  It seems the training can make the 
difference, as CADDYSHACK is pushed out of top team by HARUCHAI, who came from 2nd 
with a 4-1-1 this turn.  Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for there are 
sorrows to drown for CADDYSHACK, whose 0-3-0 this turn dropped them by 4 into 5th.  
The HARUCHAI guild has had a 4-1-1 turn and deserves to be watched in the future.  
You never know where this kind of thing can lead.  And let's see, JIMMY RUSSELL 
fought WHITE GOLD ALBUM and gained 20 points and contributed to WET & RECKLESS' 
1-0-0.  DR BEEPER has lost to THIMBLEWIND, falling 7 points, while helping make 
CADDYSHACK a 0-3-0 turn.  Due to his absence and inability to defend the throne, AWD 
GOGGIE has lost the title of Duelmaster.  We should ask NANOOK about the thrill of 
victory, and what being the new Duelmaster does for a warrior, he's now the one to 
ask.  Tell me, is nothing sacred?  I have heard from unimpeachable sources that The 
Warty Toad uses trolls in their stew.  Talk about gristle!   
     He who challenges well, fights well.  He who avoids without cause, shall lose 
for good reasons.  My mama told me that one.  I also notice that the TRICKSTERS 
stable was the most avoided team this turn.  Come on WILLAF, what are you afraid of?  
And avoiding TRICKSTERS more than any other team we find WINDS OF HOPE.  WILLAF, are 
we going to accept, or respect this sort of thing?  Well, sports fans, take notice 
that FINNY BONE from PUNNY AMINALS was WILLAF's most challenged warrior this turn.  
In a brave attempt, THE ONE TRIO from HARUCHAI challenged up 23 points to fight MIO 
MI from the PUNNY AMINALS stable.  THE ONE TRIO perhaps got his just desserts, seeing 
as he beat MIO MI and ended up with 41 recognition points.  WILD MAGIC MIC of 
HARUCHAI had better have a good reason for challenging down 9 points in a challenge 
which he won.  I thought WILD MAGIC MIC showed great skill and promise when he bested 
FINNY BONE.  All right, so I slept through it!  Big deal!   
     The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.  
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed.  A brave warrior does not carry a 
red shield, he has nothing to cover or hide when the fight is over.  Consider well.   
     Thought for the day, a new sword shines bright, but the notched sword sings the 
sweetest.  Always good to rest in WILLAF, but never good to wear out my welcome.
