                             Notes from the arena champ.

If Arnold Jackson had a lisp:  "Whatchoo talkin' bout, Willaf?"  I've been waiting to 
drop that joke in arena Willaf for a while.  Looks like I'm out of here.  I'm a 17-8-
9-15-17-5-13 Basher, leaving with Master Attack, AE Init and Dec.  Favorites attained 
were mod/low and decise skills.  I also have been awarded the coveted prize of WAR 
FLAIL as my favorite weapon.  You'd think they would have retired this horrible weapon 
as a possibility of favorites during Covid or something.  Oh well, I will flail around 
Homeguard before I retire.

                                      SPY REPORT

     Busy, busy, busy, lots of things happening in WILLAF this turn, and let's start 
with a look at some of the teams.  It seems the training can make the difference, as 
TRICKSTERS is pushed out of top team by SAXON, who came from 2nd with a 5-0-0 this 
turn.  Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for there are sorrows to drown for OFF 
LAND WOMEN, whose 0-0-0 this turn dropped them by 4 into 12th.  FAR TRAVELERS stable 
has parlayed this turn's 2-0-0 into a 8 space move up the rankings.  This brings them 
up to 5th place.  Good work, guys!  The SAXON guild has had a 5-0-0 turn and deserves 
to be watched in the future.  You never know where this kind of thing can lead.  And 
let's see, BROKEN HEROES fought GRIPHOOK and gained 20 points and contributed to 
SAXON's 5-0-0.  GRIPHOOK has lost to BROKEN HEROES, falling 25 points, while helping 
make TRICKSTERS a 2-2-0 turn.  Well done, WILLAF, the Duelmaster was this turn's most 
challenged warrior.  Perhaps MIDAS TOUCH is not as thrilled, being challenged 3 
times.  HIGH FANTASY Bloodfeuded for the Duelmastership this turn, attempting to 
dethrone SAXON's warrior.  The attempts to dethrone the Duelmaster have failed, and 
MIDAS TOUCH remains WILLAF's top warrior for another turn.  Tell me, is nothing 
sacred?  I have heard from unimpeachable sources that The Warty Toad uses trolls in 
their stew.  Talk about gristle!   
     The crowd's roar, the smell of iron and leather, mixed with sweat, what more 
could a warrior ask of life?  Well, besides that.  SAXON has cause to stand tall, as 
they were WILLAF's most avoided team.  A smart manager knows this is a team to beat.  
And avoiding SAXON more than any other team we find TRICKSTERS.  WILLAF, are we going 
to accept, or respect this sort of thing?   
     A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once.  Wise men know this to 
be true.  Is it really true that WILLAF has more dishwashers per capita that 
fighters?  Just thought I'd ask...
