                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings warriors!  It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the 
clash and bustle of the weekly TALCAMA games.  Former top team WOMB OF HORRORS was 
unseated this week as INANIMATE TOFU moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot 
with a 3-2-0 record for the round.  There were bitter words at THE EMERALD ISLES' 
guildhouse after a 1-4-0 showing this week which dropped the stable into 11th.  Dark 
Arena anyone?  Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner!  Witness 
how this week RUNE went 3-1-0 to move up 3 in the rankings.  IGGWILV caught the eye 
of many in the gladiatorial commission as she skillfully bested TIRE IRON and was 
awarded 26 points in recognition.  In one of the week's more notable duels, EXCALIBUR 
put down SMIDGE, causing him to lose 15 points of recognition in the process.  Most 
watched of the fights this week, the spotlight was on KANOR as it bore arms against 
the challenge of reigning Duelmaster THE OTHER DOCTOR.  Although KANOR made a valiant 
effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious THE OTHER DOCTOR.  
Informants "close" to the city champion have told me that he never fights without 
pantyhose on beneath his armor.  Watch out!   
     Many and various are the arts of battle.  In TALCAMA "art" is a word that has 
long since passed from the language!  My inside sources tell me that the team to beat 
in TALCAMA these days is COSMIC KARMA.  At least, most blades in town are looking to 
avoid them.  Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent the 
better part of last week avoiding COSMIC KARMA.  Indeed it was NEXT GENERATION.  
Loose talk at the arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that 
many fighters are after HARRY TRUMAN.  Watch your back!  A match that raised a few 
eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that BARON O'GRAYMATER posted a challenge 
against the more highly recognized URUZ.  The results, you ask?  Well, the firebrand 
BARON O'GRAYMATER was bested by URUZ.  Remember warriors, this is the discipline of 
steel.   
     What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his 
foe's mortality?  Perhaps even the strong cannot escape the vagaries of this world.  
This week arena veteran TIRE IRON was slain, despite a 12-8-3 record.  I have seen 
warriors die in youth.  I have seen men cut down in their prime.  This week MAD 
SCIENTISTS must mourn the loss of 7-3-0 DENSITY to OF WOLF AND MAN II.  Cruelly, 
IGGWILV of WOMB OF HORRORS has slain the lesser ranked TIRE IRON.  Word already flies 
around town that THE BIKE SHOP plans a bloodfeud!  Some say a warrior is judged by 
the way he bears arms.  One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on 
the belt!   
     If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times 
already in TALCAMA.  Nice atmosphere you have here!  More than a sharp eye must I 
keep, indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well!  The endless paths of Alastari 
await me!  Till next we meet remember:  a fool flies into a rage quickly and often.
