                             Notes from the arena champ.

     Thraximundar stepped in into a pile of it. Now I am Duelmaster. Rightly so. Not 
only did he step in it, he slipped and fell face-first and now smells of the dead. He 
will not pass go and will not collect $200. He will not become a Lord Protector, 
instead leading to yet another recruit. 
     Am I happy? No. Am I thrilled? Yes. I did not want to see a fellow warrior die, 
especially one who was a mere step from Immortal? I am pleased for my manager, but sad 
for the opposing manager. He deserved his Lord Protector. I stole it from him.
     Slasher verses aimed-blow. Slasher's challenge. Perhaps the aimer's manager 
failed to heed the Bloke's AVOID ME? Aiming at his arm, I swung my highly polished and 
sharp scimitar. He dodged, as a good aimer should. He didn't reciprocate. I threw a 
crit and just swiped his lower body as he leaned away. It was an awesome hit! He was 
in serious trouble. I couldn't help myself, and swung two swift times connecting with 
his face below the steel cap. He fell to his death. I, pile of manure that I am, 
ascended to the title.  
     Sad for him and the Neon? Yes. Happy for Manure and the Bloke? Yes. I can only 
shout the alarm and echo the Bloke when I say "AVOID ME!"

                                      SPY REPORT

Greetings, Lapur. Today we honor the 2nd invitee of the year, TROUBLE of I'M THE WOLF 
is the 3rd from Howlin Wolf's guild here. He is Lapur's first immortal Piker since 
TRAFFIC JAM of BASH BROS about a year and a half ago and leaves us with a 28-18-0 
record that many a warrior would envy. Sir Trouble has earned his immortality and I am 
sure will make the city proud on the Isle. All Hail Lord Protector Trouble of I'm the 
Wolf! Now on with this week's arena activities.

Thirteen teams again, with two inactive. From those teams we have 22 fights on the 
commission list. One by torch light, one Bloodfeud, 7 challenges, and that leaves 13 
matchups.

Let's start with the fight for the throne. Ohhh wait, it is also a Bloodfeud fight. 
TASALON of NEON VELVET bloodfeud challenged the Duelmaster MANURE of AVOID ME!, with 
Neon's mysterious warrior besting the Bloke's odorous warrior in a minute Title fight. 
Congrats Tasalon!

In Team News, another week of change, Purple Sage and his Black Kelts jumped from 3rd 
to 1st after a 4-1-0 showing. Dropping from 1st to 2nd is Neon Necromancer and his 
Neon Velvet warriors after a 3-1-0 result. In 3rd place, Visionist and his Mid Earth 
crew after a 3-1-0 record. The Team on the Move is a tie between Obregon's WAR PARTY 
and Visionist's MID EARTH, who both gained 30 points. The Most Avoided is once again 
the Bloke and AVOID ME!, who was avoided 11 times. The next best got 7 avoids.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time for the challenge fights or my Fight of the Week. 
Sorry.

Other individual achievements...
The Biggest Winner is WARIUS who gained 23 points after beating RED MARE.
The Biggest Loser is CUTS ONCE, who lost 10 points. Two steps backwards.

Wait one minute, is this an early April fools joke? A Commission scribe just dropped 
off a parchment stating that THREE warriors got their invites! We have not had that 
happen in a long time--just over 200 turns ago on turn 810, in fact. Congrats to 
MANURE, UNCAS, and ELLISAR on receiving your invite! We will honor you next week. 'Til

death of Thraximundar stings a lot. All he had to do was live, and he would have

                            WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN TEMPE!
