                             Notes from the arena champ.

This chair, this throne seems to fit me.  Seems to cradle me.  Almost as if I have sat 
here before, for years.  It comforts me, warms me.  Like I am being held safely and 
snuggled into the warm bosom of an old friend.  It soothes my scars, silences the 
pain.

The throne fits me.

The title fits me.

Kinda like a good ole pair of....Sneakers!

                                      SPY REPORT

     Welcome XOCHITHLAN.  I, Olaf Modeen remember this place well.  Many the fights 
have I fought here.  The celebrations, the disappointments...  Biff!  Pow!  
XOCHITHLAN watched with glee as UNDERGROUND LAB 17 got knocked off top spot by DUCKS 
UNLIMITED!  What's with SILKIE?  She actually beat THE MIDDLE WAY's APPLE CORE, and 
walked away with 10 more points from the fight.  Laughs were big at DUCKS UNLIMITED 
while they watched LORD LOVE A DUCK clobber CHASING BUNNIES.  She lost 4 points and 
got bruised from objects thrown from the stands.  I'm sure XOCHITHLAN is excited 
about CRYING, the new Duelmaster from BASH BROS BABY.  (remember?)  But when you've 
seen as many as I have...  Wouldn't it be nice to have live subjects to practice on?  
I hear some team is looking into the uses of convicted prisoners.   
     No matter the time or place, men will always duel.  XOCHITHLAN thinks BASH BROS 
BABY and their 350-273-17 is too much!  If at first you don't succeed, give up...  
Management must be dealin', as the boys at TROLLHEIM ain't reelin'!  BASH BROS BABY's 
mad!  How well I know the feeling of being the most challenged warrior, BEERSHEBA 
CHANG!  Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to haunt you.  Keep challenging up 
26 points, DUCK SOUP, and I won't have to write about you much longer.  BEERSHEBA 
CHANG always accepts those kind of challenges...  DUCK SOUP did pretty good last week 
in beating BEERSHEBA CHANG to get 19 points.  Why did BEERSHEBA CHANG lose, you ask?  
Simple:  she wasn't good enough.   
     There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit.  Do you want the fighters 
to walk away, or not?  Many a warrior has met his fate in a hungover stupor.  You 
young rapscallions, take note!   
     Well, I'm pretty much through.  You guys need to get back practicing.  Are you 
as tired of reading this as I am of writing it?  Actually, I guess I'm writing it 
before you read it.  Oh, well.  Remember--a good fighter needs both good skills and
