                                      SPY REPORT

     Hail and well met warriors of KATI-TEI!  Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp 
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari.  Warriors--remember that glory waits 
always around the corner!  Witness how this week MASTERLY SENSE went 2-0-0 to move up 
4 in the rankings.  DEADLY DIADEM caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial 
commission as she skillfully bested PELICAN and was awarded 23 points in recognition. 
Most watched of the fights this week, the spotlight was on DUCT MAN as he bore arms 
against the challenge of reigning Duelmaster RECOGNIZE MAJESTY.  Although DUCT MAN 
made a valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious RECOGNIZE 
MAJESTY.  No confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their 
position using magical aids.  Charmed weapons perhaps?   
     But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades 
that is city KATI-TEI.  KATI-TEI, city of gladiators!  Mighty among the names of thy 
guilds is DEATH'S  ARMY, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly duels.  If 
you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any of NAWLINS 
RU2 last week.  Busy avoiding DEATH'S  ARMY?  Loose talk at the arena has reached my 
ears and it but confirms the knowledge that many fighters are after DUCT MAN.  Watch 
your back!  I can not but mention with disdain the name of FRENCH QTR. who this week 
posted a challenge to a warrior a full 11 points below in the rankings.  I thought 
FRENCH QTR. showed great skill and promise when she was overcame by I DRANK WHAT?!.  
All right, so I slept through it!  Big deal!   
     What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his 
foe's mortality?  I have seen warriors die in youth.  I have seen women cut down in 
their prime.  This week NAWLINS RU2 must mourn the loss of 8-3-0 PELICAN to DEATH'S  
ARMY.  Dark alleys may hide both secrets and assassins.  In the arena there is only 
the brightness of steel.  Keep vigil always!   
     The girls are as pretty in KATI-TEI as ever I remembered them....and the 
fighters as ugly!  Don't let your reputation slip!  More than a sharp eye must I 
keep, indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well!  The endless paths of Alastari 
await me!  Till next we meet remember:  a fool flies into a rage quickly and often.
