                             Notes from the arena champ.

Another week.  Another faceless stand-in sent to die.

Kati-Tei calls this an arena, but lately it feels more like a hospice. Death's Army 
didn't even bother to show up this turn, not one corpse in their ranks willing to 
crawl out and face me. How fitting that a team named after death can't seem to deliver 
any.

You'd think after I killed two of theirs, Blood Poisoning and Airborne Ranger, they'd 
want a little revenge. But no!  They just vanished. 

No blades, no blood, just excuses and holidays.

And so the Commission drags in another NPC to feed to me.

I cut him down in seconds. The crowd didn't even look up. They've seen this story too 
many times. So have I.

But now. there's a whisper. A name.  Jaso.

An Aimed Blow, they say. A new contender. A "hopeful."

I've heard that before. They come in full of confidence, all talk of precision and 
speed, until they meet me and realize their aim doesn't matter when they're bleeding 
out through their own ribs.  Still. I almost hope he shows.

Because this arena is dying, and I need something, someone, to remind me why I'm still 
here.

So, Jaso, if you've got a blade and a pulse, come find me.

Don't hide behind rankings or matchups or some manager's note that says, "avoid 
Killers."

Step into the sand and make me feel something again.

If you win, you'll earn my respect.

If you lose, and you will, at least, you'll die for something better than mediocrity.

Until then, I'll keep holding this title like a torch in a graveyard, waiting for 
someone with the guts to step out of the shadows.

                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings, Warriors of KATI-TEI.  Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to 
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport.  Practice pays for 
KRUUL, who pummelled VISITING ORC, to pocket 18 points.  LANDSCAPER certainly had a 
baffled expression on his face, after losing to DUSTMITE and losing 10 points in the 
process!  Those who hoped for a new Duelmaster were disappointed by M. CHARDINEE, of 
KATI-TEI, who despite a 0-0-0 couldn't overcome KATI-TEI's Number 1.  So who's the 
team that's been walking into taverns last week and ordering milk?  Sounds like a PR 
stunt to me.   
     And how sociable are KATI-TEI's warriors?  Come, let us see.  Perhaps the 
warriors of KILLERS should take up some hobbies, as they are the most avoided team... 
Like a pup with its tail between its legs, NAWLINS RU2 scurried away from KILLERS.  
Oh, the shame!  Is it charming personality?  Conversational abilities?  Good oral 
hygiene?  Whatever it is, VARKHUL is the most challenged warrior.  Mismatched by 15 
points, VARKHUL was bested by FRENCH QTR..  Is this really worth noting?  I thought 
FRENCH QTR. showed great skill and promise when she defeated VARKHUL.  All right, so 
I slept through it!  Big deal!   
     Like the wind whispering among the pines, do hearest I many disquieting rumors.  
Will NAWLINS RU2 never avenge MARDI GRAS' death???  Oh brave(?) new world, that has 
such people in it!  'Tis new to me!  Questions are being raised about the disposing 
of severed body parts in the arena.  A certain tavern in KATI-TEI would I avoid!   
     Leave me now, you base fools!  More important duties call me.  Do not despair!
