     It's me, The Unknown Spymaster here with my bag to give you the news on last 
week's fights.  Say good-bye to CHAMPIONS IV, as they are pushed from the coveted top 
team spot by the FANDILS stable.  Hey everybody, watch out for I AM LEGEND, who flew 
up 23 points in the rankings after mashing HAYSTACK like a melon.  Keep your eye on 
this guy.  Ya know, some days it doesn't pay to walk out on the sands.  KAREN was 
defeated by CAUGHTCHALOOKIN and drops 10 points.  Well here's a duelmaster that 
doesn't sit back and say 'Challenge me'!  RUSSI made a challenge against BARN GHOST 
this week.  Our battling duelmaster RUSSI has managed to hold the title, fending off 
BARN GHOST's none too subtle advances.  Better luck next time, BLUVALLEY WARRIORS.  
Can you believe they are paying me 10 gold to deliver this stuff?   
     Let's dig a little deeper into what's happening in the ARDIVENT arena.  And hey, 
kiddies, those of you who didn't avoid FANDILS, please raise you hand.  Wow.  Does 
ARDIVENT really have that many liars?  For those of you who like math, try this one:  
FANDILS + Weapons That go Boom = CHAMPIONS IV + Avoid City.  Well just about 
everybody wants a piece of BLUFF, who was this week's most challenged warrior.  Was 
it guts or an overtaxed mental capacity that had BERNICE challenge up 63 points in 
the rankings to take on BLUFF?  I heard BERNICE laughed all the way to the inn as 
hers new point total of 97 was posted in the arena.  I guess beating BLUFF really 
pays!   
     Death is kind of like a new puppy:  he's always around wanting to play.  (Ha 
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?).  Ask not the elves for counsel, for they 
will say both yes and no.  Silly buggers, eh?   
     Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in ARDIVENT have no 
sense of humor.  Or maybe that they were senseless.  C'mon, Leadfoot, let's make some
