                             Notes from the arena champ.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road. Follow the Yellow Brick road. I'm heading to The Emerald 
City on The Isle. A Lord Protector! And, lo and behold, a Duelmistress!  Who would 
have thought it back when the Wise Fandil recruited me. Even some of my potential 
teammates were astounded at Fandil's selection. But I worked hard and have shown that 
The Mighty Fandil The Wise knows his stuff.

What did I look like those several years ago when I showed up at Camp Fandil? Would 
you think a 9-12-8-5-19-13-19 Aimed Blow was the stuff of champions? A godling? Dark 
Arena bait. But The Wise One saw something in me that all others missed, and I am off 
to The Isle with a 26-16 record.

I will miss you all. It was difficult, but fulfilling. And I wish you all the best.

                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings, Warriors of ARDIVENT.  Allow this humble servant Novgorodny Vir to 
give you a respite from the fights in the form of this Spyreport.  Nothing is certain 
in ARDIVENT, with changing loyalties, changing Duelmasters.  Write this down:  new 
top team--PUPPY SQUAD.  FANDILS had cause to celebrate, after SCORPIO got 14 points 
by beating FRIENDLY CONSTABLE.  A certain someone should cut down on the drinking and 
practice more, after losing 8 points to THE HONEST MERCHANT.  (Discrete enough, 
CHAD?) Can you believe it?  PENNY apparently has better things to do as ARDIVENT's 
Duelmaster than show up and fight!  Now I can't insult BUSTER, as he has gloriously 
dueled to the top.  Oh great new Duelmaster!!!  (Stop me if I lay it on too thick) So 
who was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and challenging dead trees?  
Someone's got a basic problem...   
     So much to report, so little time!   
     Ah, the duel!  The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd!  Oh hard!  that 
to strike a flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!   
     Leave me now, you base fools!  My fingers tire and I fear my incessant prattling 
may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable character.  Can anything compare to the
