                                      SPY REPORT

     If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of 
TRICORUS brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too.  YUPPIE WIVES CLUB turned their 
1-0-0 turn into a 4th place rank in the listings this turn.  Any better than this, 
and you get put on hit lists.  Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see NORI 
BRANDYFOOT win a fight and gain 21 points, terribly.  Tsk, tsk, STUNT beat LUPERZA 
and LUPERZA lost 1 points.  You're breakin' my heart.  And if variety is the spice of 
life, TRICORUS may be getting bland, as THOROLUND stays top dog in the city.  The 
Silver Chalice, humph!  I've tasted better ale at mortuaries.  Where do they get this 
stuff?  From TRICORUS' trash dumps?   
     He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.  What's 
the big D?  OF WOLF & PITT was the most avoided team?  Bunch of lily livered... 
grumble... mumble... curse...  And it looks like THE FELLOWSHIP avoided them the most 
this turn.  What a pack of would be losers, if you ask me.  Hmph.  ASTORA was 
challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster.  Now was the DM insulted or 
feared?  Heh, heh.  I guess I can give a little credit to OR NOTHING of TOP FIVE 
DOUBLES for challenging up by 21 to ASTORA.  OR NOTHING lost to get 30 points of 
recognition.   
     Death and Taxes.  The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience.  Let's 
see if anyone's dead or dying.  Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines 
through use.  Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.   
     What does the TRICORUS arena have in common with the inns?  It's just as 
comfortable to sleep in either place.  Ha ha ha ha!  Phlllt!  Just had to do that 
before I leave the fine city of TRICORUS.  I feel much better now.  Paste this one in 
your scrapbooks, you'll need the kindling come this winter-- Snide Clemens
