                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings warriors!  It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the 
clash and bustle of the weekly ROCANIS games.  My praise to INCONSISTENT FURY for 
their 3-1-0 week this time out.  Indeed, it was a skillfully fought round deserving 
of notice!  FLAP-DRAGON caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he 
skillfully bested PINECONE CHARLY and was awarded 19 points in recognition.  In one 
of the week's more notable duels, FLAP-DRAGON put down PINECONE CHARLY, causing him 
to lose 17 points of recognition in the process.  Due to his absence and inability to 
defend the throne, MAGNUS has lost the title of Duelmaster.  This time victory fell 
to the grasp of the usurper.  All hail MARC ANTONY, Duelmaster of ROCANIS!  Would you 
believe that over half of the old women in ROCANIS seem to feel that they could fight 
better than you gladiators?   
     I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently 
transpired.  Indeed there is much I would report.  My inside sources tell me that the 
team to beat in ROCANIS these days is MEN OF STEEL.  At least, most blades in town 
are looking to avoid them.  Apparently the stalwarts of INCONSISTENT FURY are 
catching the bulk of jests down at the challenging board for their large share of the 
avoids.  A match that raised a few eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that 
MANNINGTREE OX posted a challenge against the more highly recognized MARC ANTONY.  
The results, you ask?  Well, the firebrand MANNINGTREE OX was slain by MARC ANTONY.  
Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.   
     What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his 
foe's mortality?  The warrior's path is harsh.  For mediocrity there is but one 
reward--death.  This past week MANNINGTREE OX, at 13-10-1, departed ROCANIS forever.  
Cruelly, MARC ANTONY of TOON INN has slain the lesser ranked MANNINGTREE OX.  Word 
already flies around town that BARDIC FLAPPERY plans a bloodfeud!  Dark alleys may 
hide both secrets and assassins.  In the arena there is only the brightness of steel. 
Keep vigil always!   
     The girls are as pretty in ROCANIS as ever I remembered them....and the fighters 
as ugly!  Don't let your reputation slip!  More than a sharp eye must I keep, indeed 
a stout pair of legs must I keep as well!  The endless paths of Alastari await me!
