                                      SPY REPORT

     Greetings warriors!  It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the 
clash and bustle of the weekly ILLIS games.  Warriors--remember that glory waits 
always around the corner!  Witness how this week ISLANDERS went 2-1-0 to move up 6 in 
the rankings.  GREYHOUND caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as it 
skillfully bested I CAN QUIT and was awarded 24 points in recognition.  In one of the 
week's more notable duels, GREYHOUND put down I CAN QUIT, causing him to lose 20 
points of recognition in the process.  Who here was not present for the title fight 
this week as D'ARTAGNAN boldly challenged TOM BLIGH in order to strive for the 
Duelmasters honors?  Not for nothing has TOM BLIGH in the past laid claim to the 
Duelmaster's throne, and this week he's proven his combat skill yet again.  Would you 
believe that over half of the old women in ILLIS seem to feel that they could fight 
better than you gladiators?   
     Many and various are the arts of battle.  In ILLIS "art" is a word that has long 
since passed from the language!  I saw one fighter that warriors avoided when this 
week's challenge seeking began.  ISLE OF SKYE is feared.  This much I can say.  If 
you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find any of 
BASHAHOLICS ANON last week.  Busy avoiding ISLE OF SKYE?  Mighty fighters cannot but 
expect competition from those below.  MY FAIR LADY take warning!  You have more than 
a few enemies in ILLIS.  I can not but mention with disdain the name of THORUNDR who 
this week posted a challenge to a warrior a full 10 points below in the rankings.  I 
thought THORUNDR showed great skill and promise when he defeated BEACHCOMBER.  All 
right, so I slept through it!  Big deal!   
     Vendettas.  Bloodied blades and broken spears.  Indeed the city has seen more 
than its fair share of red in recent times.  Dark alleys may hide both secrets and 
assassins.  In the arena there is only the brightness of steel.  Keep vigil always!   
     If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times 
already in ILLIS.  Nice atmosphere you have here!  Sadly warriors, now longer can I 
keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city.  Depart I must and soon!  Till 
next we meet remember:  a fool flies into a rage quickly and often.  The wise are
