                                      SPY REPORT

     Hail and well met warriors of DWES EG!  Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp 
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari.  Former top team DEADWOOD was 
unseated this week as FAMOUS GOLFERS moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot 
with a 2-2-0 record for the round.  The proverbial rising comet can only hope to 
compare with UTOPIA RELIGIOSO's team record!  A 2-0-0 week and now a firm grasp on a 
8th place ranking.  I have begun to suspect trickery on the part of MONSTER MASH-A.  
How else weeks like this one's 1-0-0?  How else the sudden move to 16th team?  The 
proverbial rising comet can only hope to compare with BLOODY KISSES II's team record! 
A 1-0-0 week and now a firm grasp on a 17th place ranking.  I have begun to suspect 
trickery on the part of STONED ROOKIES 3.  How else weeks like this one's 1-0-0?  How 
else the sudden move to 18th team?  The proverbial rising comet can only hope to 
compare with THE BLACK LEAGUE's team record!  A 1-3-0 week and now a firm grasp on a 
19th place ranking.  My tutors were fond of telling me that the higher you rise the 
harder you fall.  This week IN THE CLOSET went 0-1-0 and fell 12 notches into 27th!  
ROOKIE PINK 21 bore the brunt of major assault on their standings this week as they 
dropped to 28th position as the result of going 0-1-0!  I have begun to suspect 
trickery on the part of BAD IDEA.  How else weeks like this one's 1-0-0?  How else 
the sudden move to 31st team?  Did only my eyes note the 3-0-0 record which CITY OF 
BONES managed to post this round?  I don't doubt that such a record will draw 
challengers!  MOSE MANUEL caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as he 
skillfully bested FLAG BEARER and was awarded 21 points in recognition.  In one of 
the week's more notable duels, MOSE MANUEL put down FLAG BEARER, causing him to lose 
16 points of recognition in the process.  This time victory fell to the grasp of the 
usurper.  All hail ACT TOGETHER, Duelmaster of DWES EG!  Heed this!  A seer has 
warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city shall perish!  Just 
remember...5 or 7!   
     Many and various are the arts of battle.  In DWES EG "art" is a word that has 
long since passed from the language!  I saw one fighter that warriors avoided when 
this week's challenge seeking began.  ARCANE TESTAROSSA is feared.  This much I can 
say.  Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent the better 
part of last week avoiding ARCANE TESTAROSSA.  Indeed it was DEADWOOD.  Mighty 
fighters cannot but expect competition from those below.  GORMU take warning!  You 
have more than a few enemies in DWES EG.   
     Vendettas.  Bloodied blades and broken spears.  Indeed the city has seen more 
than its fair share of red in recent times.  Some say a warrior is judged by the way 
he bears arms.  One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!  
     If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times 
already in DWES EG.  Nice atmosphere you have here!  Ahh, but I can hear the spires 
of a far off city calling to me.  I must away!  Till next we meet remember - the pen

                            WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN TEMPE!

We hope you will join us at our winter FTF in Tempe, AZ, January 16-18, 2026! It will 
be held at our usual Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-897-7444).  Room 
rates are $214.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which includes full cooked breakfast, 
complimentary manager's reception, free parking and free high speed internet.  There's
